I'm Barbara, and I embarked on an exciting journey in the U.S. with my family, driven by my husband's work commitments. Back in Italy, my fondest memories were intertwined with family gatherings and an array of delectable desserts – from cakes and pastries to cookies, chocolates, breads, and focaccia, all lovingly served at every meal.
My love for baking traces back to my childhood, where I spent hours kneading dough with my grandmothers and delighting in the magic of creating homemade cakes that I'd eagerly share with friends during my teenage years.
However, upon my arrival in the U.S., I was astonished to find a shortage of pastry shops. It was baffling how people here could live without the vibrant, delightful pastry shops that I had cherished in Italy, brimming with a wide variety of tempting treats. As a dedicated dessert enthusiast, I felt compelled to bridge this gap by introducing authentic Italian pastries to my new community, offering a distinct alternative to the typical Italian cookies commonly found in the U.S.
With unwavering determination, I transformed my passion into a thriving business from the ground up. My bakery now offers a delightful array of Italian treats, bringing immense joy not only to myself but also to the local community.
